Study of location is done (away from noise pollution, factory emitted fumes and vapors etc.) in different perspectives like accessibility to transportation, availability of public utilities, scope for future expansion, presence of proper sanitary & other civic utilities.
Survey is done for the soil investigation & sub soil conditions.

Early planning
Operational planning – in terms of services going to provide, bed strength, departments, equipments, space required, personnel, adjacencies etc.
Functional planning, the departments in the hospital will be planned such that the patient and doctor can move in an orderly manner as per NABH/JCI standards as required by the client and also the market.
